While specialized war or farming bases may outperform hybrids in their specific area, a good hybrid base eliminates the need to constantly switch layouts. The core philosophy of a hybrid base is compromise — the Town Hall is semi-centered rather than fully centered (trophy) or outside (farming). Storages are distributed around the base rather than clustered near the core. Building a successful hybrid at TH13 requires understanding which resources you need most during your current upgrade phase.
