Clan Capital Guide 2026 — Raid Weekends, Districts & Capital Gold

The complete Clan Capital guide for 2026. Learn how Raid Weekends work, all districts explained, how to earn Capital Gold and Raid Medals, and best attack strategies.

Clan Capital is one of the most exciting cooperative features ever added to Clash of Clans, transforming the game from a solo and clan war experience into a fully shared, collaborative base-building and raiding system. Introduced in May 2022, Clan Capital gave every clan a massive shared base spread across multiple districts, requiring members to work together to upgrade it, defend it, and raid other clans during Raid Weekends.

This guide covers everything: how Clan Capital works, all districts, Capital Hall levels, Raid Weekend mechanics, the best attack strategies, how to earn and spend Raid Medals, and how to organize your clan for maximum efficiency.

What Is Clan Capital?

Clan Capital launched globally on May 2, 2022. It introduced an entirely new game layer separate from your home village and Builder Base. Instead of each player managing their own base independently, Clan Capital is a shared clan base — every member contributes to building and upgrading it together.

At launch, Clan Capital featured Capital Hall levels 1 through 5 with five initial districts. Supercell has since expanded it significantly, adding new districts, raising the Capital Hall cap to level 10, and continuously refining the balance.

How Clan Capital Works — The Core Loop

Capital Gold

Capital Gold is the primary currency of Clan Capital. It is used exclusively to upgrade Clan Capital buildings, walls, and district halls. Every member earns Capital Gold through various activities and contributes it to the clan's shared base.

Raid Medals

Raid Medals are the reward currency earned by participating in Raid Weekends. Unlike Capital Gold, Raid Medals are personal — you spend them at the Trader for resources, Builder Potions, Hero Equipment shards, and more.

The Weekly Cycle

  • Sunday through Friday: The building phase. Members contribute Capital Gold to upgrade buildings.
  • Raid Weekend (Friday to Sunday): The attacking phase. Your clan attacks other clans' Capitals.

All Clan Capital Districts Explained

Capital Peak

The main district housing the Capital Hall. Most heavily fortified. Defending Capital Peak is the top priority.

Barbarian Camp (CH2)

First additional district. Heavy ground defenses. Attackers typically use massed ground troops.

Wizard Valley (CH3)

Magical defenses and Air Defenses. Winding paths make funneling tricky.

Balloon Lagoon (CH4)

Air-focused district on water terrain. Best attacked with Rocket Balloons.

Builder's Workshop (CH5)

Mechanical theme with unique traps. Multiple compartments requiring efficient wall breaking.

Dragon Cliffs (CH6)

Elevated cliffs with strong splash defenses. Air attacks (Super Dragons) work well.

Golem Quarry (CH7)

Heavy defenses and high-HP structures. One of the tougher districts to three-star.

Skeleton Park (CH8)

The final and most dangerous district. Layered defensive rings and powerful traps.

How Raid Weekends Work

Attack Allocation

Each member receives 5 attacks per Raid Weekend, plus 1 bonus attack if your clan fully destroys at least one enemy Capital (6 total). Attacks work differently than Clan Wars:

  • Multiple members can attack the same district — progress carries over
  • Once a district's District Hall is destroyed, it is conquered
  • Troops are selected from Clan Capital barracks (separate from Home Village)

Raid Weekend Scoring

Performance is scored by districts destroyed, total destruction percentage, and stars earned. Raid Medal payout is distributed to all participating members at the end.

Capital Gold — How to Earn It

Forge in Your Home Village

The primary method. Forge Capital Gold at the Forge building using Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir. Higher TH players can forge more per day.

Raid Weekends

Participating in Raid Weekends earns Capital Gold based on destruction caused.

Clan Games

Some Clan Games tiers include Capital Gold rewards.

Tips for Forging

  • Forge every day, even small amounts — consistency builds up
  • TH15+ players can forge thousands per day
  • Lower TH players (6-9) still contribute meaningfully

Raid Medals — How to Earn and Spend

Earning Raid Medals

  • Number of attacks used
  • Districts destroyed
  • Defensive performance
  • Total clan performance

A fully active member can earn 1,200 to 1,600+ Raid Medals per weekend at higher Capital Hall levels.

Spending Raid Medals — The Trader

Gold, Elixir, DE bundles25–150 medals
Builder Potion75 medals

Pro tip: Books of Building and Heroes are limited quantity — active raiders can grab these weekly.

Best Attack Strategies for Raid Weekends

Super Wizard Spam

Best for: Capital Peak, Wizard Valley, large open districts. Deploy Giants first as meat shields, then Super Wizards in a line behind them. Use Lightning Spells on high-DPS defenses.

Super Dragon Attack

Best for: Dragon Cliffs, Skeleton Park, linear districts. Line up Super Dragons along one edge. Deploy Rocket Balloons ahead to clear Air Defenses.

Rocket Balloon Attack

Best for: Balloon Lagoon, Builder's Workshop. Deploy ground tanks first, then Rocket Balloons in a wave. Rage Spells when they reach the core.

Mixed Cleanup Compositions

For finishing partially damaged districts: Golems/Giants to absorb, Super Minions/Archers to clean, Healing Spells for sustain.

How to Prioritize Capital Upgrades

1. Capital Hall First (Always)

Every Capital Hall level unlocks new districts or raises building caps.

2. District Halls Second

District Hall levels control caps for all buildings within that district.

3. Defenses Third

Stronger defenses = more defensive medals earned each Raid Weekend.

4. Walls and Traps Last

Important but lower medal-earning impact than upgraded defenses.

Capital Contributions — Organizing Your Clan

Set Weekly Contribution Goals

  • Top players (TH13+): 3,000–5,000 Capital Gold per week
  • Mid players (TH10–12): 1,500–2,500 per week
  • Lower players (TH6–9): 500–1,000 per week

Designate Upgrade Decision Makers

Assign Co-Leaders as "Capital Managers" to prevent random building upgrades.

Coordinate Raid Weekend Attacks

  • Attack weakest enemy Capital first to guarantee bonus attack
  • Use clan chat to communicate priority targets

Track Contributions

The in-game Clan Capital tab shows each member's contributions and attacks used.

FAQ

Do I need to be a high Town Hall to contribute?

No. Even TH6 players can forge Capital Gold and use Raid Weekend attacks.

Can I change my army composition mid-Raid Weekend?

Yes. You select troops fresh for each attack, allowing different strategies for different districts.

How are clans matched for Raid Weekends?

Primarily based on Capital Hall level and total district development.

Can I donate Capital Gold to clanmates?

No. You spend Capital Gold directly on upgrades yourself, but the upgrades benefit the whole clan.

What is the fastest way to earn Raid Medals?

Use all 5-6 attacks every weekend, focus on high-destruction attacks, and ensure your clan destroys at least one enemy Capital for the bonus attack.

Clan Capital separates great clans from casual ones — get raiding, keep contributing, and never waste a Raid Weekend again.
